Objectives

The Institute is meant to train professionals grounded in both theory and practice of educational leadership and evaluation with global vision.
 

1.Objectives and Characteristics
 

                 (1)To train professionals and researchers specialized in the theory and practice of educational leadership and evaluation.

     
                 (2)To fulfill the goal of internationalizing and specializing the discipline of educational leadership and evaluation.

    
                 (3)To meet the needs of educators in southern Taiwan who aspire after extension and lifelong learning.

    
                 (4)To focus on the research of the practical field of educational leadership and evaluation and to assist the local educational administrations 
                       to improve the teaching effectiveness and quality of learning in primary and high schools.
 

2.Prospect
 

                (1)To be engaged in the research of educational leadership and evaluation and to provide references for domestic evaluations.
 

                (2)To encourage the participation into the international seminars on educational leadership and evaluation and to prompt the establishment
                      of the epistemology of educational evaluation.
 

                (3)To assist the educational evaluation of local primary and high schools and to be commissioned to implement education evaluation 
                      of local primary and high schools and self-assessments.
 

                (4)To assist the implementation of evaluations of faculty, teaching, curriculum in STUST.
 

                (5)To research and develop all kinds of modules and tools appropriate for primary and high school evaluation and to provide primary
                     and high schools with consultation on educational leadership and evaluation.

    
                (6)To hold seminars and workshops on professionalism of educational leadership and evaluation.

    
                (7)To hold seminars on career planning and ethics for professionals of educational leadership and evaluation
